Manchester United fans were far from happy with Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino after yesterday’s pre-season friendly.
Despite winning the fixture 2-1, Manchester United players were on the end of a number of meaty challenges from Pochettino’s men, forcing the Argentine to come out and apologise.

There was one tackle in the first-half which got many fans talking. Tottenham star Moussa Sissoko appeared to stamp on winger Daniel James twice, which caused a confrontation between the two sets of players.
The Red Devils won the game after goals from Anthony Martial and youngster Angel Gomes, either side of half-time.
The win kept up Manchester United’s 100% record in pre-season so far. The Old Trafford giants have won versus Perth Glory, Leeds United, Internazionale and Tottenham in pre-season.
The club now travel to Norway to face manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s home town club Kristiansund on Tuesday next week.
Fans weren’t pleased with the tackles by the Tottenham players and were doubtful over Pochettino’s apology.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful:
Easy to apologise after your players did what you told them to

Totally unacceptable and the club needs to remember these tackles on James when the season starts.lets see how good Harry’s ankles are when a few very hard tackles get into him
