Borussia Dortmund have set Manchester United a deadline to sign Jadon Sancho this summer.
Dortmund will not sell Sancho cheaply and are demanding £90m for the winger, despite the fact both clubs find themselves in unprecedented circumstances.
According to The Mirror, Sancho wants to leave Germany and return to England to join United. He is excited at the prospect of playing with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.
Personal terms are not a problem for Man United, which means the transfer fee is the only obstacle remaining at the moment.
The Red Devils are running out of time to sort out a deal but should be buoyed by Sancho’s enthusiasm.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he is his top priority in the summer, as United have been tracking the 20-year-old for over three years now.
The England international is the club’s top scorer this season, having scored 20 goals in 46 games in total so far.
Naturally, many United fans gushed over the latest transfer update on social media, with one fan tweeting the club are “gargantuan,” while another added the news is “music to my ears.”
