Manchester United have made some major mistakes over the years but signing Alexis Sanchez must be the worst decision the board has ever made.
United had high hopes for Sanchez after they beat Manchester City to sign him from Arsenal back in January 2018. However, the 31-year-old has turned out to be a complete and utter flop.
Indeed, he has only scored 5 goals in 45 appearances for the Red Devils, even though he earns astronomical wages which are reportedly £400,000-a-week.
The Chile international has struggled with multiple injuries and a slump in form.
Sanchez has spent the past season on loan at Inter Milan after falling out of favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his contract in Italy is set to expire in a matter of days.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, as per @utdreport, United have reached an agreement with the Nerazzurri to extend his loan until the end of the season.
Furthermore, Inter are keen to keep him at the San Siro for another year or sign him permanently in the summer.
Unsurprisingly, many United fans gushed over Sanchez’s transfer update, with one fan urging the board to “let him go,” and another adding the “injury prone” ace is “finished.”

They can both go but there’s no point in paying part of sanchez’ wages if he doesn’t play for us just find a way to bin him imo

If we’re still paying his wages I don’t see why rather let him go free and pay no wages no point in paying 3/4 of them and not having him for at least an injury crisis or something
