Loads of Manchester United fans are keen for Dean Henderson to be a part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad for the seasons ahead.
Henderson, who is currently on loan at Sheffield United for a second successive campaign, has been speaking about his long-term future.
“I always feel like I’ve got a point to prove and one day that is my aim, to play for Man United,” the 22-year-old told BBC Sport (via utdreport). “Until that happens I have got to earn the right, I have got to keep working hard day in and day out,” he added.
For some fans, though, he has already “earned” that right, and it is not hard to see how they have come to that conclusion. This season, Henderson has been brilliant, keeping nine clean sheets in the Premier League — no shot-stopper has kept more.
With 11, he is also just outside the top five for punches made, showing the sort of security he has brought to Chris Wilder’s side this term. At Manchester United, there is a little problem that comes in the form of David de Gea. Still, these fans are all set on a swift homecoming.
Take a look at what they have had to say below…
