Manchester United fans are frustrated with a transfer report from the Manchester Evening News that says the club are monitoring James Maddison over a potential move next summer.
It seems that fans of the clubs are still reeling from the summer transfer window, where media were linking them with potential moves for players rather than concrete interest.
The north-west club were linked with potential moves for Bruno Fernandes, Sean Longstaff and Sergei Milinkovic-Savic, all of which didn’t end up coming to fruition.
Despite the vast links with players in the summer, the club only ended up with three players in the form of Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
Fans of the Old Trafford giants are showing signs of frustration as they took to Twitter to tweet about how the club have become ‘monitoring FC’.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Old Trafford faithful following reports of the club monitoring Maddison:

What's to monitor? Just pay and get him. Not having a No.10 is holding up this team.
