Manchester United: Fans hail Antonio Conte’s reported interest in Nemanja Matic

According to a report from the Daily Telegraph via United Xtra, Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is on Inter Milan’s radar as they try to strengthen amid a neck in neck Serie A title race with Juventus.

Inter are currently locked on 39 points at the top of the league with the Old Lady, with both sides having won 12, drawn three and lost one this season – providing potentially the best Italian title race in years.

If the rumours are to be believed, the San Siro outfit are looking to bring in United midfielder Matic in a bid to add more steel to their midfield – with manager Antonio Conte having already signed Red Devils outcast Romelu Lukaku in the summer to devastating effect.

Now, with whispers pointing to Conte making a swoop for Matic, supporters are grateful to the Italian for trying to take the Serbian off their hands.
