Manchester United fans are liking what they see from Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly after Carlo Ancelotti’s charges came from a goal down to draw with Paris Saint-Germain in Naples on Tuesday.
The French-born Koulibaly, who plays his international football for Senegal, starred in the Italian side’s 1-1 draw with PSG in the Champions League and has attracted quite a lot of interest from Red Devils fans, hoping he could be the solution to their defensive problems.
United have struggled under the current set of centre-backs this season with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof the regular starters for manager José Mourinho.
But the club’s fans want the 27-year-old Koulibaly to be high on the transfer priority list and feel he could form a formidable partnership with Eric Bailly, who’s also had a difficult start to the season.
