After Manchester United succumbed to a 2-0 loss away to Arsenal on New Year’s Day, former star Robin van Persie gave his verdict on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BT Sport via United Xtra – with fans leaping to praise the Dutchman for his candid opinions on their under-fire boss.
Van Persie, who scored 58 goals in 105 appearances for the Red Devils, spoke to BT Sport about Solskjaer’s reign as manager – citing the fact he ‘sounds like a really nice guy’ but should be more passionate and ‘angry’ about their second 2-0 loss in four games.

The former Arsenal striker appears to have his reservations over Solskjaer, much like a good portion of the overall fan base, with supporters wholeheartedly agreeing with his verdict after the game.
United currently lie fifth in the Premier League table, winning two out of their last five encounters, with the Red Devils facing a top-four challenge for the remainder of the campaign.
