Manchester United: Fans react as Bruno Fernandes wins EA Sports FIFA Player of the Month award

Many Manchester United fans are buzzing after Portuguese superstar Bruno Fernandes picked up his first FIFA Player of the Month award for February.

Fernandes posted a picture of him collecting the award and holding his Premier League FIFA 20 Ultimate Team card on social media earlier this week.

He then cheekily asked the game developers if he could get a free player pack.

The playmaker has played a major role in the Red Devils’ recent run of form, bagging two goals and two assists, ensuring United avoided defeat in all competitions throughout February (Transfermarkt).

Since joining United from Sporting Libson for £49.5m in January, Fernandes has netted three goals and provided four assists, including a match-saving effort against Everton at Goodison Park earlier this month (Transfermarkt).

This latest feat is even more remarkable given this was the Portuguese international’s first full month in English football. The 25-year-old looks certain to become another club legend if he can continue to keep the impressive performances up under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
