Despite costing a world-record sum after building a strong partnership with former United man Jonny Evans while at Leicester City last season, it seems like the Englishman hasn’t exactly lived up to those lofty standards so far for the Red Devils.
In comparison to his last season at the King Power, the 26-year-old’s rating on WhoScored.com has dropped to 6.87 whilst making less blocks and clearances on average.
Whilst this may be expected with it being his first full season at a new club, perhaps some supporters were expecting more from the £80 million man, going in on the defender when he spoke after their latest slip in the Premier League.
