The rumour mill is well and truly churning ahead of a looming January transfer window, with Manchester United linked to their fair share of top quality players, but this latest rumour indicating an interest in Jadon Sancho fails to capture the imagination of some supporters.
Since signing for Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund back in 2017, the 19-year-old has blasted his way into headlines thanks to his sumptuous form in Germany – making 76 appearances, scoring 24 goals and assisting 34 others over the last three seasons, as per Transfermarkt.
The Englishman, as well as being home grown, clearly has the potential to light up the Premier League if he were to make a return to his home country in the near future – with United, according to a report from the Daily Mirror, looking like they are in pole position for his signature.
However, some supporters are less than impressed with the whispers, with one fan demanding Leicester City’s James Maddison instead…
