Manchester United fans will have been feeling gloomy this morning after Liverpool clinched their first Premier League title in thirty years last night.
However, the Red Devils immediately moved to give the fan base something to cheer about.
Man United’s official account tweeted footage of Paul Pogba dancing past Sheffield United defenders.
Anthony Martial scored the club’s first hat-trick in over seven years as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side beat the Blades at Old Trafford.
The game marked the first time Pogba and Bruno Fernandes had started a game together and early signs have shown they are well on their way to forming a formidable midfield partnership.
Pogba, who has been linked with a move away from the Theatre of Dreams, relished the opportunity to bamboozle the Blades defence. One run in particular saw him combine balance with close control, which United subsequently shared on social media.
Naturally, lots of United fans gushed over the “incredible” video, with one fan tweeting he is “world-class,” while another added he is a “king.”
