Manchester United managed to set up a date with Arsenal in the next round of the FA Cup after coming from behind against Preston North End, but our regulars in the Football Transfer Tavern are more interested in talking about Radamel Falcao.
After going a goal down and labouring against the League 1 side, manager Louis van Gaal decided the time was right to ring the changes and put Ashley Young on for Falcao.
That may sound simple enough, but Falcao tried his very best to pretend he hadn’t seen his number nine show up on the board held by the fourth official and did a very good ‘should have gone to Specsavers’ impression.
Now while we may have found the subsequent viral image funny, you can bet that manager Van Gaal will not – and the only thing that we think he will have found less impressive was the actual performance from the forward!
