Manchester United have won an awful lot of trophies over the years, largely thanks to former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The legendary Scotsman, who also managed Aberdeen and St Mirren, is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers to ever grace the beautiful game.
He can be credited with discovering the famed Class of ’92, including the likes of David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary and Phil Neville, who went on to dominate English football for many years.
Ferguson, who is affectionately known as “Fergie” by the United faithful, spent 26 years in charge at Old Trafford, winning the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup on multiple occasions.
