Metro have claimed that Toni Kroos has not ruled out the possibility of a move to Manchester United.
This news means that our Red Devils supporters here in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking up rather excitedly.
The Bayern Munich star has spoken about the possibility of a move and claimed that he is happy at the minute, but would not rule anything out in the future.
“I am unable to rule anything out,’ he told kicker-Sportmagazin.
“I am under contract with Bayern Munich (until June 2015). Actually there are yet no further talks (regarding a new contract) scheduled. I will therefore fully focus on the second half of the season.
“There are worse situations in life. I play for a top club, and under a top coach. I am pleased, and sometime in the future a decision will be made.”
As our landlord notes over the pool table, there is a wealth of players battling Kroos for the attacking midfield role at Bayern and despite the player currently being under a long-term contract, he would like to play regularly and is willing to consider a move.
Moyes has also considered Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus and after the purchase of Juan Mata, our landlord and punters think that David Moyes is under the impression anything is possible!
