Manchester United: Inter Milan’s reported stance on Alexis Sanchez has supporters fuming

According to an exclusive report from Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Inter Milan are hesitant on making Alexis Sanchez’s loan move a permanent deal unless his performances and injury record significantly improve, whilst also citing that they will want a discounted price for the Chilean.

Sanchez, who has started just two Serie A matches for the Italian title-chasers since signing on loan last summer, missed the majority of Inter’s early campaign with a tendon injury (Transfermarkt), with the Nerazzurri reluctant to fork out an offer unless his form and availability improve significantly. The 31-year-old, who has proved to be a controversial figure in the eyes of United fans, signed for the Red Devils from Arsenal in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan back in January 2018.

Since then, Sanchez hasn’t quite managed to replicate his stunning form for the Gunners, with last summer’s arrival Daniel James having more efforts on goal than him this season (1.4), as per WhoScored.com. Regardless of his limited minutes, this could display Sanchez’s lack of prowess when given the opportunity, with these United fans praying the club sell him on this summer.
