Many Manchester United fans have been left slamming the display of Anthony Martial in the first half of their game at home to Everton in the Premier League, even despite his late goal.
The France international was presented with a golden chance to score after just a few minutes after Aaron Wan-Bissaka put in a delightful cross into the box, but he could only manage to put his header wide of the post.
He generally struggled to get on the ball and make any real impact, almost isolated on the left side of the pitch at times, though he eventually fired a tidy finish past Jordan Pickford.
It was a bit of a surprise that Martial started the match, given that both Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba have been left on the substitutes bench by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and the former AS Monaco man will no doubt need to improve in the second half at Old Trafford.
