Many Manchester United fans have been left slamming the display of Dan James in their game away at Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Wales international struggled to make any sort of real impact on the match, and was consequently subbed off early on in the second half by Edinson Cavani.
He lost out on all three of his duels, and also failed to record a single shot on goal, dribble, accurate cross or long ball, while he lost possession of the ball on no fewer than on 11 separate occasions (Sofascore).
With Cristiano Ronaldo looking likely to join up with the squad after the summer transfer window ends, James' place in the starting line-up will certainly be under threat, and with poor performances like these he is not giving himself the best opportunity to keep his place.
