Manchester United: Fans blast Fred display

Some Manchester United fans were left blasting the display of Fred despite their 2-1 away win at Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men found themselves behind very early on through an Ademola Lookman goal but Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba both scored to give the Old Trafford faithful all three points and thus put them at the top of the EPL table.
Should Fred start for Manchester United?
Yes

No

Although there were some very good performances from the Red Devils on the night, some supporters felt as if Fred did not have the best of games.
The central midfield player lost out on no fewer than eight of his duels, the most lost out of any player to have set foot on the pitch, and also failed to make a single clearance while losing possession of the ball a mammoth 16 times, the joint-fourth most out of his teammates, earning him a quite measly 6.7 overall rating on Sofascore.
Manchester United fan reaction to Fred display
These supporters blasted his performance on Twitter, with one fan even going as far as to call the 27-year-old Brazil international a ‘lightweight’:
“2 things from the #FULMUN game last night: 1. AWB has the ball skills of a limbless juggler – he needs competition and hand-eye coordination training 2. Fred can’t pass – all very well having energy but no creativity and giving away fouls does not make a good holding CM #ggmu”
“#FULMUN Fred is too lightweight. Gets brushed aside too easily.”
“Anyone else would have had a better shot than Fred #FULMUN”
“Fred‘s had a stinker #FULMUN”
“Boss Fred played rubbish in that DM role.”
“Fred is actually useless, how can we have a cm who can’t pass #MUFC #FULMUN”
