Manchester United: Red Devils fans discuss David Ornstein’s latest news about Jack Grealish

Many Manchester United fans have been discussing the news that the Red Devils are no longer interested in Jack Grealish, after David Ornstein exclusively revealed the transfer update in a Q&A via The Athletic.

Sources told the journalist the board would prefer to sign a holding midfielder instead of the Aston Villa talisman this summer. Grealish has been heavily tipped to move to Old Trafford after putting in a series of impressive performances for Dean Smith’s Claret and Blues throughout the season, but it appears Ed Woodward has now changed his mind.

The 24-year-old has scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists in 26 appearances in the Premier League for Smith’s side, taking 2.1 shots per game, averaging 2.7 key passes, and making at least 2.2 dribbles on average in the English top flight so far (WhoScored).

After months of rampant speculation, it seems Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t consider the Englishman as a top priority, as the Norwegian has identified another area in his squad that needs an immediate overhaul.

As expected, Ornstein’s comments have triggered a debate amongst a large section of the United faithful, with one fan suggesting the club should “sign up Ndidi ASAP.”
