Manchester United: Red Devils fans gush over Anthony Martial highlight reel

Lots of Manchester United supporters have been gushing over a tweet from the club’s official account showing a video of Anthony Martial’s highlight reel.

The Red Devils tweeted footage of the 24-year-old tearing up defences all over the Premier League, including his sensational effort against derby rivals Manchester City, some sublime finishing versus Chelsea, and intricate link-up play with his strikeforce partner Marcus Rashford away to Norwich City.

Martial has scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists in just 23 appearances in the English top flight for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, taking 2.6 shots per game, averaging 0.9 key passes, and successfully completing 1.5 dribbles on average up until now (WhoScored). The Frenchman’s market value is currently estimated at £43.2m via Transfermarkt.

Before football came to a standstill in the wake of the pandemic, the talented dribbler had buried four strikes in the past six games across all competitions, and many fans will be hoping he can keep his impressive run of form up when the beautiful game finally returns.

Naturally, a whole number of the Old Trafford faithful fawned over Martial’s impressive montage on Twitter, with one supporter dubbing the clip as “beautiful,” and another added the club’s social media admin has “sauce.”
