Loads of Manchester United fans were left raving over Dimitar Berbatov’s dream hat-trick, after the club posted footage of his sensational effort against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Twitter.
The Red Devils tweeted a clip of the United legend embarrassing the Reds with a ridiculous overhead kick. Taking a cross from Nani, the forward took a touch to keep control of the ball, before firing home an incredible acrobatic finish (Bleacher Report).
After arriving at the Theatre of Dreams from Tottenham Hotspur for £34.2m, Berbatov bagged 56 goals and produced 27 assists in over 100 appearances for United. He also enjoyed spells at Fulham FC, Bayer Leverkusen, and AS Monaco, before ending his career at Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters FC.

The former Bulgarian international reminisced about his first-ever hat-trick for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in the latest instalment of the flagship series UTD Unscripted on the club’s official website.
Naturally, many supporters are still stunned by Berbatov’s ‘iconic‘ goals at home against Roy Hodgson’s team, and made their feelings known on social media. One fan called the striker a “baller” and another dubbed him as “absolute class.”
