A whole number of Manchester United fans have replied to a tweet from @utdreport that shows Scott McTominay’s skilful twist on the crossbar challenge.
The footage is taken from McTominay’s official Instagram account as the youngster has been trying to keep himself entertained whilst practising social distancing in light of the ongoing pandemic.
In the video, the Scottish midfielder walks away from a goal in his garden and flicks the ball behind him against the top of the frame.
After graduating from the famous Red Devils academy, the 23-year-old has impressed for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side this season, making 20 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 4 goals, providing 1 assist, taking 1.4 shots per game, averaging at least 1.5 dribbles, and completing 2 tackles on average in the English top flight (via WhoScored).
McTominay’s performances on the hallowed turf at Old Trafford have been rewarded with the title of The Athletic’s Manchester United Young Player of the Year, and his market value has steadily increased to £20.25m according to Transfermarkt.
