Gareth Bale is set to disappoint a legion of fans according to the Daily Mail after he decided to stay in Spain with Real Madrid – despite interest from Manchester United.
Bale has not found it easy at times this season and has been scapegoated more than once when things have not gone to plan for Carlo Ancelotti’s men and with the links appearing just about every single day now claiming he will be making a move back to England and the Premier League, we thought a return could be on the cards.
That will not be the case however with the player himself determined to show Spain what he can do – and given he is unwilling to leave while he is considered a flop, we think Manchester United will have to look elsewhere – for now at least.
One of our punters seems to think that the Red Devils will get the chance to sign Bale further down the line – but as for right now, they will just have to be patient!
