Manchester United have been linked with Jadon Sancho for more than three years now but are seemingly no closer to signing him.

Borussia Dortmund are refusing to budge on their £115m valuation for Sancho, despite the fact that he has made it clear he wants to return to England. As a result, the Red Devils are reportedly drafting up a list of alternatives in the event they cannot sign Sancho in the summer.

Italian newspaper La Nazione, as relayed by Sport Witness, claimed that Man United have offered €50m for Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa, which roughly equates to £45m.

The 22-year-old has played 23 games in Serie A this season, scoring six goals, supplying three assists, taking 3.5 shots per game, averaging 1.3 key passes and completing 1.5 dribbles per game on average (WhoScored).

However, failure to sign Sancho would be a huge blow for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he has previously insisted the winger remains his top priority. It is worth remembering that he also missed out on signing Erling Braut Haaland last year.

Unsurprisingly, loads of United fans were unhappy about the latest transfer link, and you can scroll through some of the scathing reactions down below:
