Sadio Mane has been a fantastic purchase for Liverpool since he joined from Southampton four years ago.
The Senegal international cost £34m from the Saints in 2016, and he has turned into a world star at Anfield. Since making the switch, he has managed 77 goals in 161 games, of which 22 came in the Premier League last time out as he shared the Golden Boot with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and team-mate Mohamed Salah (BBC Sport).

Not only that, he was named African Player of the Year last year, and also finished fourth on the Ballon d’Or list – he is one of the club’s most important players. However, France Football (via The Daily Star) say that he is ready to leave the Reds after Jurgen Klopp publicly backed Virgil van Dijk for the European award instead of the 27-year-old, who earns £100,000 a week at Anfield.
