As per France Football (via The Daily Star), Sadio Mane wants to leave Liverpool.
Mane has been linked with Real Madrid recently, but it didn’t seem likely that he would be making any kind of departure until this latest rumour.
It has emerged that the Senegal international is fuming with Jurgen Klopp after the 52-year-old publicly backed Virgil van Dijk for last year’s Ballon d’Or instead of him, and as such he wants to leave Anfield.
In all fairness, this is rather difficult to believe. Mane comes across as a humble figure, with him previously saying that money, for him, is not important (nsemwoha.com via SPORT) – his actions at the African Player of the Year awards last year, which he won, also showed off that side of him.

Why he would be desperate to depart Liverpool seems peculiar, although there would be no lack of suitors should he be available. The current pandemic means that it would be difficult for anyone to come close to his £108m Transfermarkt value, and there is unlikely to be any real desire for Michael Edwards and co to sell.
If he were to leave, though, it would be a blow to the Merseyside outfit, of that there is no doubt. However, there is no need for the club’s supporters to worry just yet.
