Many Wolves fans have slammed the performance of Marcal in the first half of their game in the Premier League against Brentford at Saturday lunchtime.
The left wing-back effectively rugby-tackled one of his opponents in the penalty box to give the Bees an easy penalty, which Ivan Toney converted to put the west Londoners 1-0 up at Molineux.

His troubles were doubled when Toney then became the provider to set up Bryan Mbuemo to give Thomas Frank’s side a 2-0 lead at the break.

Marcal seemed to struggle defensively and was also culpable of poor decision-making when going forward, and he will be hoping that his second half performance is much better as Bruno Lage looks to get something out of the match, even though that appears to be very difficult now.
