Mark Allen has got his work cut out in trying to shift these 3 Rangers flops this summer

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are desperate for their side to secure a European spot, as they’ve struggled to grind out positive performances in recent times.

The Bluenoses will be looking to finish the season strongly as they still have a chance to secure silverware in the Scottish Cup, but face an uphill task as bitter rivals Celtic are standing in their way. Although, Graeme Murty will do everything he can to give fans the result they’re craving, as anything less than a victory will be seen as a disaster by our local residents.

However, there’s no doubt that Mark Allen has his work cut out in the summer transfer window, with an exit looking likely for a number of ineffective first-team members. Although, many of the underperforming players will struggle to find football elsewhere, as the Bluenoses will look to head into the new season without anything holding them back.

Therefore, Mark Allen has got his work cut out in trying to shift these THREE Rangers flops…

Bruno Alves

Bruno Alves has looked less than convincing in the current campaign as his age is beginning to show on the field, with many of our local residents wanting to see the back of him in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, the former Portuguese international has looked sluggish in possession and struggles to deal with fast attackers, as his pace lets him down as a weak point in the defensive line so far this season.

Therefore, the ageing defender should be on his way out of Ibrox at the end of the season, after failing to meet expectations and showing that he can’t handle Scottish Premieship football.

Jordan Rossiter

Jordan Rossiter has certainly had a season to forget as he’s suffered injury after injury, in what’s been a rather disastrous campaign at Ibrox with an exit looking likely in the summer months.

Indeed, the former Liverpool midfielder has shown moments of brilliance in the side so far this season, but many of our local residents are fed up with his inability to stay fit as another injury may not be too far away.

Therefore, Mark Allen should look to cut ties with the midfielder in the summer transfer window, as he’s failed to showcase his talents in the current campaign as injuries continue to affect his career.

Lee Hodson

Lee Hodson has been the forgotten man in the current campaign as he’s only managed to feature in the side on eight occasions, as he continues to stagnate behind the scenes with a summer exit looking inevitable.

Indeed, the former Milton Keynes Dons defender has failed to make the most of his Rangers career, with many of our local residents wanting to see the back of him in the summer months after producing a poor season.

Therefore, Mark Allen will have his work cut out in trying to move him on in the summer transfer window, as his performances at Rangers have been less than convincing with potential buyers turning their back on the defender.
