Liverpool: Fans not impressed with Marko Grujic’s comment about Adrian

A number of Liverpool fans have slammed midfielder Marko Grujic after saying that goalkeeper Adrian’s career at Anfield has ‘ended’.

The 33-year-old shot-stopper replaced the injured Alisson Becker last weekend but was humbled by his side’s shocking 7-2 defeat against Aston Villa before the international break.

Grujic, who recently joined FC Porto on a season-long loan, made his feelings clear on Instagram where Engleski Fudbal were praising Villa’s Ollie Watkins. In his native language, the 24-year-old Serbian mentioned that he had Watkins in his fantasy football team but as soon as he took him out, he “does this”.

Grujic added that, after the Reds were humbled at Villa Park, the ex-Brentford striker “probably ended Adrian’s LFC career”.

To some of the Kop faithful, this was totally unacceptable behaviour from a player who has been trying to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first team since 2016, and these Reds fans on Twitter did not hold back on the Serbian.
