For the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern, nobody has been more important than Mohamed Salah at Anfield this season. The Egyptian moved to Anfield from Roma over the summer, and the start that he has made has been simply sensational.
The departure of Philippe Coutinho is, of course, a massive loss for the Reds, but as long as Salah is fit and available for Jurgen Klopp, the club will always have a chance.
That extends to Liverpool’s upcoming game with Man City this weekend, and it has come as a huge boost to our resident Reds that, according to the Liverpool Echo, Salah is winning the race to be fit for selection.
He has, of course, missed Liverpool’s last few games through injury, and it’s safe to say that they’ve missed him – despite the fact that they have picked up a few impressive results in recent weeks.
