Liverpool remain well in the battle for the Premier League title and, despite the persistent pressure from Manchester City, have it all to lose themselves.
With a game in hand, the Reds can reinstate their position at the top of the table with a positive result.
Whilst that is all well and good, Liverpool then have to continue winning right until the last game of the season if they want to bring success back to Anfield.
Whether they complete their aim of winning the title or not, work has to be done in the summer to improve their side because they cannot allow their rivals to better themselves whilst they don’t.
With that in mind, a signing that would show a huge statement of intent would be the capture of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Skriniar, (who is valued at £54 million on Transfermarkt) would be a player who makes Liverpool’s back-line even more resolute and a lot stronger as they continue to strive, in order to make themselves a better team.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a very successful season with Inter Milan thus far, making himself known to other top European teams who may transpire to be future investors.
In 29 total appearances, the Slovakian international has amassed 11 clean-sheets and alone proves to be an almighty barrier for the opposition players to try and get past.
Liverpool have had problems in the past finding a permanent partner for Virgil Van Dijk with injuries and suspensions but undoubtedly, the Reds would do very well to acquire Milan Skriniar, who is a player improving by the game.
