Mo Salah delivers perfect response to pundit and Liverpool fans on Twitter are loving it

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to Mohamed Salah’s latest goal that left Robbie Savage with egg on his face. Robbie Savage was in the middle of claiming that he’d rather have Leroy Sane than Mo Salah in his team next season when Salah tucked home an 84th-minute winner to take all three points from Crystal Palace to leave Savage looking silly.

Moh Salah did what Mo Salah does on Saturday at lunchtime as he scored Premier league goal number 29 for the season to help Liverpool see off Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after Sadio Mane equalised for The Reds in the second half. The timing of Salah’s goal was perfect for those watching BT Sport at the time as his goal came whilst Jermaine Jenas and Robbie Savage were debating over who they would rather have in their side between the Egyptian and Manchester City’s Leroy Sane.

Whilst Sane has no doubt been superb for Manchester City this season, the output of Mo Salah has been too good to leave the wing-wizard out. 29 Premier League goals and nine assists make him one of the deadliest players in the World at the moment and his form has come at a great time given the World Cup is just around the corner for Salah. Egypt have been drawn into Group A alongside host nation Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay and whilst The Pharaoh’s aren’t expected to go far in Russia, their chances will be boosted by having the world-class Mohamed Salah leading the line.
