Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has shared a heartfelt Instagram post following his goal against Lech Poznan on Thursday.

Morelos was the hero for the Ibrox outfit in their 1-0 win over Poznan in the Europa League as he netted the only strike of the game. In doing so, he also equalled Ally McCoist’s record for the most goals in European competition for the 54-time Scottish champions – the two are now tied on 21.

On Friday, Morelos shared a photo of his celebration, with the caption (translated from Spanish):
“Always work with humility and discipline, today’s struggle is the reward of tomorrow, let’s go for more, may all glory be to God.”
Different side to Morelos
This certainly shows a different side to the £13.5m-valued Colombia international (Transfermarkt). Whilst he is a fantastic goalscorer – he now has 83 goals in 152 games in all competitions for the Gers – he is also known for having a pretty fiery temper. After all, he has received seven red cards in just three years north of the border.

This term, he has not yet received an early bath. Whilst there are still some worrying incidents – such as when he slapped Scott Brown on the back of the head in the first Old Firm of the campaign – he appears to have worked hard to cut those problems from his game.
