Crystal Palace fans in the Tavern are hoping this year’s poor Premier League campaign doesn’t end with key players leaving Selhurst Park, but many see it as inevitable.

The Eagles have had their wings brutally clipped this season as their dire league form and soulless performances have resulted in the club becoming embroiled in this year’s relegation battle.

Sam Allardyce arrived at Crystal Palace, following the departure of Alan Pardew in early December, and has yet to prove he can turn their fortunes around despite having a squad packed with international players.

The Palace faithful are rightly worried that with their Premier League status uncertain the vultures will be circling and keen to feed on the prime cuts within the squad.

So, with this in mind which TWO Palace men will be in demand this summer?

CHRISTIAN BENTEKE

Christian Benteke has scored 70 goals in all competitions since his arrival in England in 2012 and is a proven Premier League striker.

At just 26, the forward would have no shortage of suitors and could prove a shrewd investment for one of the Premier League’s mid-tier teams.

WILFRIED ZAHA

Since returning to Palace from Manchester United in January 2015, Zaha has sparkled in the Premier League and was named Palace’s Player of the Season for 2015/16.

The young forward has already been subject to a bid from Tottenham in this year’s January transfer window and will have no shortage of options in the summer, should he decide to leave the club.
