We all know that Jose Mourinho wants to come back to the Premiership when he is finished in Spain. But reports have emerged that this may happen sooner rather than later, with a possibility that ‘The Special One’ will quit Real Madrid at the end of this season.
Only 1 year into his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, Jose would leave the European giants over a row with Sporting Director Jorge Valdano and their differing transfer policies. And he has dropped a hint that this could happen soon, with his striker crisis not looking like getting resolved quickly.
It was reported that after Gonzalo Higuain’s injury woes, Mourinho wanted to buy another striker. Higuain was Jose’s main man in a mouth-watering 4-2-3-1 formation. And after failed attempts to buy Hugo Almeida from Werder Bremen, Emmanuel Adebayor from Man City and even after trying to tempt Ruud Van Nistelrooy back to Madrid from Hamburg, Mourinho was found wanting a target man.
Now the plot has thickened as Jose substituted Karim Benzema whilst Real were drawing with Almeria, and received public criticism from his Sporting Director as a result. Valdano, a powerful man at Madrid, it seems didn’t back Jose when it mattered but has come out and rubbished his tactics in front of the Spanish media.
Jose responded by saying (among many other things, most of them to cryptic to work out) “I make my choices and if I have questions, I ask for advice from my staff.”
Jose does love the Kop, so watch this space.

let utd have him, we’ll stick with Robby Manc thank you very much
Mourinho has already made it clear in the media that he would consider any Premiership team except Liverpool. He has always said that the Chelsea team is his team, and has gone out of his way to maintain a good relationship with Abramovich even after he being fired by him (quite something for a man with Jose’s ego). Who can forget him being allowed to sit in Roman’s private box at Stanfordbridge last year. Things between Chelsea and Jose are far from over. Chelsea will always be his first choice.
were did you hear that from as the only club he wants to manage in england is man utd
mourinho has expressed hes desire to take over from sir alex when he decides to call it a day but if he goes to city then theres no way in hell he will get a chance at mufc .. also he would never return as chelsea manager
jose said he would love to manage pool a few year back, but said that he would not take over with hicks an gillette in charge………
jose loves to be loved and he is not getting that at madrid…..
he will come to liverpool cos he loves a challenge and he would love to be the man who brings pool back to their former glories……
he will not manage man utd cos fergie isnt goin anywhere soon cos fergie will need carrying out of old trafford in a box!
I was just wondering if maybe he will be taking over from harry if he takes the england job ? we do seem to have an eye on one or two their players and would be my choice, if harry really wants to manage the england team?
