There are potentially big revelations for Manchester United supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern this evening about a possible transfer target.
Charles Perrin from The Express has arrived for a post-work beer with news that Red Devils target William Carvalho is set to be offered an improved deal at Sporting Lisbon.
David Moyes is thought to be very interested in the 21-year-old midfielder with United scouts watching the Portuguese youngster.
It is even thought that the Sporting star, who could follow Cristiano Ronaldo’s route from Sporting to Old Trafford, could make a surprise appearance in the Portugal national team at the upcoming World Cup following some fine appearances with his current club.
Now Portuguese reports indicate that Sporting are putting together an improved deal, even though he still has four years left on his existing contract.
The main reason is to increase his release clause should United and other suitors follow up their long standing interest during the summer.
