The Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hugely excited for their imminent showdown with Real Madrid in the Champions League. Indeed, the punters propping up our bar have been delighted with their European campaign this season and are now just 90 minutes away from a sixth European crown.
Clearly, their shootout with the continental champions in Kiev is taking up most of the conversation amongst our local Liverpudlians, though there’s also the small matter of a major signing gearing up for his arrival at Anfield. After months of waiting, the Reds are so close to finally welcoming Naby Keita to proceedings.
The RB Leipzig midfielder finished his career in the Bundesliga on Saturday with a 2-6 away thrashing of Hertha Berlin and his current employers took to Twitter on Sunday to thank the Guinean for his service as his move to England draws ever closer.
