It was a nightmare start to life back in the Champions League for the Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern this evening.
Indeed, with Paul Pogba captaining the Red Devils this evening, many of those propping up our bar were hoping to see the Frenchman push on during what should be his big night.
However, the £89m superstar suffered what looked like a hamstring injury less than halfway through the first-half and was taken off in place of Marouane Fellaini.
With Pogba looking so good during the season so far when paired next to Nemanja Matic, it’s a major blow for everyone connected with the club, especially on what could have been a huge night.
Hopefully, it’s not too bad for the midfielder, with a big clash with Everton coming up on the weekend.
