The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are drowning their sorrows once again.
Indeed, our resident Reds were gutted to see their side crash out of the Carabao Cup last night at the hands of Leicester City, making a previously frustrating week a completely awful one.
Jurgen Klopp’s failure to significantly strengthen the club’s defence since his arrival almost two years ago now has been the subject of discussion amongst our local Liverpudlians over the past few days and some of them are starting to believe he’ll never sort it out.
To be fair, it’s not as if there are many indicators suggesting he actually will.
Amazingly, some fans online are even suggesting the previously unthinkable.
Yes, after yet another loss last night in the hunt for a trophy, calls for Klopp to be removed as Anfield chief have emerged online.
