The Canaries kick off their season next week Friday against Liverpool away at Anfield, as they return to the Premier League for the first time since 2016.

Norwich City won promotion to the Premier League after finishing in 1st place in the Championship last season.
The Norfolk side have added just £3.5m worth of signings in this summer’s transfer window, with Ralf Fahrmann‘s (per Transfermarkt) loan fee accounting for £2.7m of the £3.5m total and were actually described as ‘defeatist’ by pundits on talkSPORT for their approach to the transfer market.
Still, in an article by Ben Fisher of the Guardian back in July, there was a suggestion that those behind the scenes at the club were eager to ‘retain and improve their squad rather than reinvent it.’
Norwich City encounter some difficult fixtures in the opening six games, facing Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham.
