Norwich City youngster Todd Cantwell has got the Canaries faithful raving about him after his performance against Serie A top-four finishers Atalanta.
The Canaries were outclassed as their Italian rivals romped to a 4-1 victory at Carrow Road last night, but the performance of Cantwell was a big positive.
The 21-year-old scored Norwich’s only goal of the game with a cool finish into the bottom right-hand corner.
Norwich’s 4-1 loss was their second loss of pre-season, with the other being versus Championship side Brentford.
It comes just 10 days before Daniel Farke’s side take on Liverpool at Anfield in the opening game of the new Premier League season.
It seems Cantwell could be thrust into first-team action next season, and his performance wowed the Norwich City fans.
