The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were disappointed that their side did not beat Sevilla earlier this week…
The Reds were unable to get past the regimented Spanish defence, and a couple of individual errors, in the end, really cost Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It was a decent performance, all told, but it was far from perfect, and against Burnley this weekend, Klopp’s players are going to have to up their game.
With Sean Dyche’s men looking fairly good this season, Liverpool will need to be at their best, and Klopp must also be careful to select the right players for the job.
A couple of Liverpool men have struggled lately, so it could be time for a few changes.
With that said, Klopp must not start these 2 Liverpool players against Burnley – agreed?
Dejan Lovren

How many mistakes must Lovren make before he is dropped?
The defender was at fault once again during the week, and whilst Klopp doesn’t have many options, surely there must be a better option within the Liverpool squad?
On his day he’s decent, but his mistakes have cost Liverpool far too often – and it’s time for Klopp to re-assess this.
Joe Gomez

Likewise, Joe Gomez was another player that struggled in the Champions League. He has made a decent start to the season, but it’s clear that he isn’t ready for the big stage yet.
Conversely, Trent Alexander-Arnold continues to impress in the first team, so perhaps he could come back into the fold.
Gomez is still a good option, and he’s a useful player to have in the squad – but he’s not ready yet.
