After Nottingham Forest crashed out of the League Cup yesterday, fans took to Twitter to show their dissatisfaction with the club.
The Reds lost to League One outfit Burton Albion 3-2 in what was a disappointing performance for a team hoping to make their first cup quarter-final in over two decades.
Manager Aitor Karanka had made ten changes from the team that had faced Leeds at the weekend in the Championship, and there is the feeling that he may have overlooked Burton.
Fans have taken objection to the performance, claiming it was too negative and indicative of the club’s season as a whole. As a result, Karanka has come under fire from fans, who are growing tired of the manager’s negative approach.
Forest host league leaders Sheffield United at The City Ground this Saturday, with many hoping that the manager can rectify the disappointing loss in the cup.

Negative play and not enough energy , how many times this season have we seen teams go at us and put us on the back foot..
The Burton game tonight has shown that some of these players are not good enough and that’s Karanka’s signings.

Fed up of watching boring negative football, only 4 games this season have they actually played well. How we are 7th and got this far in cup I don’t know, ridden alot of luck it feels. But I’ve never not enjoyed watching forest as much as this I do now! Boring and negative.
