Nottingham Forest are currently under a transfer embargo which dictates that they can only recruit loan players and free transfers, which has made for a fairly unhappy first half of the season for their fans here in the Transfer Tavern.

Powell is way down the pecking order with the Manchester giants and they are willing to let him leave the club on a temporary basis to allow him to play some regular football.
Our landlord here in the Tavern thinks it would be a great move for Forest to pull off the services of Powell for the remainder of the season, and thinks he would contribute to a rise up the table for Forest.
