‘Obsessed’ – Rangers fans fume as Celtic hijack Dado Prso Twitter post

The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t happy as a number of Celtic fans have hijacked a Twitter post from the SPFL commemorating ex-Ger Dado Prso. The Croatian spent three years at Ibrox between 2004 and 2007 before retiring from football, and the Celtic fans have jumped on the post, laughing at Rangers and slating the Croatian.

The post from the SPFL comes just days after Rangers confirmed the signing of Nikola Katic, a Croatian defender, as the Scottish Premier League account looked back on a famous Croatian Ger as they welcomed a new one. However, the Celtic fans saw it as fair game and pounced on the post, quick to criticise both their not-so-noisy neighbours and the player himself.

The Hoops are well placed to criticise as their club are fresh off the back of winning Scottish football’s first ever double-treble, sweeping up every domestic honour in their path over the last two seasons. This season the Rangers fans will be hoping they can put up more of a fight. New gaffer, Steven Gerrard will be hoping he can bring fresh ideas to Ibrox and the fans will be trying to climb out of the Bhoys in Green’s shadow.

As you can see, the Rangers fans haven’t taken kindly to their neighbour’s comments on the SPFL’s post and they’ll be keen to try and one-up them when next season comes around.
