Leicester City have had another decent enough season in the Premier League this time around, and despite not getting anywhere near their historic title win of two years back, the Foxes continue to impress.

Claude Puel has transformed the club back into a force to be reckoned with since taking over the club, and the summer ahead promises to be an excellent chance for the former Southampton manager to shuffle his pack and take some action in the transfer market.

Here in the Tavern, our landlord has been a big fan of the Foxes and the way they’ve gone about things in recent times, and he thinks they aren’t too far off being able to challenge for the Europa League if they can amend their squad accordingly.

With that thought in mind, we’ve taken a look at a potential in and out at the King Power this summer…

Out – Matty James

The loyal midfielder has found himself out of the side once again this season after enjoying a loan spell with Barnsley, and he might well seek to finally move on this summer.

James suffered serious injury a few seasons back when he was an integral part of the squad and first team at the King Power, and he has since seen the club develop and make big buys, shoving him down the pecking order.

With the likes of Daniel Amartey, Adrien Silva, Vicente Iborra, and Wilf Ndidi all ahead of him in the pecking order, it could well be time for the 26-year-old to make his move away from the club.

In – Samuel Saiz

The influential Spaniard has been one of the standout players for Leeds United this season despite the Elland Road outfit having an extremely poor season by their own high standards.

Saiz is quick, full of tricks, and clearly has the ability to play in a higher division than the Championship.

With the likes of Mahrez and Gray providing the width at the moment, the Foxes could well do with having more options out wide, and signing someone like Saiz, who will be itching for a shot at the Premier League, will be the perfect sort of addition.
