Ones to watch: You need to keep your eyes peeled on these 2 Wolves starlets

The Wolves fans are in the Transfer Tavern and whilst they don’t seem too optimistic about the season ahead, their future does look bright.

Wolves had a very average season during the 2016/17 Championship campaign finishing 15th in the table, seven points off the relegation places.

Thankfully for fans of the Wanderers, Nuno Santo’s side got the 2017/18 season off to a positive start with a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the Molineux stadium.

Long gone are the days of Premier League football for the famous club.

Ever since their relegation from the top flight in 2012 they suffered yet another relegation into League One but have since bounced back into a consistent Championship side.

For Wolves fans right now, it may be better to look towards the future of their club rather than focus on the present and there are a few within the youth ranks at the club who have a bright future ahead of them.

With that being said, here are two Wolves youngsters you should keep an eye on.

Austin Samuels

16-year-old Austin Samuels made his first team debut for Wolves last month in a friendly against Peterborough United and managed to score the winner too.

The teenager has been on the books at Wolves since he was eight and you could see in his celebration how much scoring for Wolves meant to him.

Nuno Santo shouldn’t rush the youngster, there is plenty of time for him to develop into a potential star.

Terry Taylor

A new face within the Wolves side, Terry Taylor made a name for himself in the youth academy at Aberdeen.

The fact that he tends to be the youngest player in the academy teams he plays in says a lot about how quickly his abilities have become apparent to those training him.

The central midfielder also made four appearances for Aberdeen’s u20 side last season.

This signing is certainly one for the future and if the confidence coaches have shown in him proves to be worth it, then Wolves could have a star in their ranks.
