‘Only Neymar better’ - Tottenham fans react as star makes bold comment

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments made by Korean sensation, Heung-Min Son to Sky Sports News that Harry Kane is the best player in the world. Kane is out injured at the moment with an expected return in late April after suffering ligament damage in Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth.

Son scored twice after Kane went off at the Vitality Stadium as the Spurs faithful watched on to see their side come back from 1-0 down in emphatic style. Son has now said that in Kane’s absence he hopes he can step up and continue bringing goals to an exciting Spurs team. Although it was one comment, in particular, that has piqued the interest of a number of fans across the Premier League.

Son claimed that the Lilywhites were always going to struggle without Kane seeing as he’s the best player in the world. Whilst all associated with N17 love Harry Kane, to describe him as the best in the world is a stretch for even the most optimistic of Tottenham fans. Kane has proved to be a revelation since breaking into the first team and scored his 100th Premier League goal earlier in the year at the age of just 24-years-old. The future is no doubt bright for Kane and he may even go on to claim a Balon d’Or one day but at the moment there are other players above Spurs’ goal machine.
