Chelsea would win the January window if Aouar joins and these 2 players follow him

Chelsea have made some huge signings over the last few years. From N’Golo Kante to Ross Barkley to Jorginho, the Blues know how to spot a good deal, and they’re apparently interested in landing another one in January.

According to RMC Sport, the Blues are interested in Lyon ace Houssem Aouar. Aouar has enjoyed a good season over in Ligue 1, and has been developing incredibly as of late.

A creative central midfielder by trade, he’d certainly a bit of quality to the heart of Chelsea team, and with the likes of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante alongside him, he’d be a great fit.

Signing Aouar would be a fantastic start to the January window for Chelsea, but it shouldn’t be the end. It’s always tough to bring in players in January, but if the Blues want to win the title, they need a little bit more quality – and they need to do better than Man City and Liverpool throughout the month.

With that said,  Chelsea would win the January window if Aouar joins and these 2 players follow him to the club…

Thorgan Hazard

Chelsea may have Eden Hazard, but his younger brother Thorgan Hazard is arguably looking just as good as the Stamford Bridge hero.

He was previously a Chelsea, but he’s improved dramatically since his move to Germany.

This term he’s bagged has bagged 7 goals and 4 assists this season, and it’s fair to say that the talented 25-year-old has impressed.

Not only would bringing him in increase the chances of Eden staying, but by bringing in Thorgan, Chelsea’s attack would get even better because he’s so good.

Luka Jovic

Despite all of Chelsea’s offensive flair, they’re still lacking that goalscoring forward that could be the difference between title challenge and a top-four finish.

The Blues have a couple of forwards, namely Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, but neither has been able to consistently perform for the Blues.

So, signing a top class striker makes sense, and Luka Jovic has all the makings of exactly that.

The striker has bagged a stunning 9 league goals despite starting just 6 games, and that’s a testament to his ability. He’s just 20-years-old, too, and so the prospect of him improving even more is an intriguing prospect.
